In our community garden, children, young people, and adults, from beginners to avid gardeners, join to learn about regional food production and how to create a vibrant urban space.

By restoring the former Toepel Garden at Lützner Straße, we will preserve a historically and architecturally significant cultural landmark and develop it into an incorporated vegetable producer. The Garden functions as a community organiser and as an intermediary between agricultural producers and regional consumers.

In Autumn 2015, we started an orchard within a subarea of the Bürgerbahnhof (Citizens’ Train Station) in Plagwitz.

Interkultureller Garten

In the project Intercultural Garden, we offer weekly visits to create a space where people with and without migrant backgrounds can meet and do gardening together.
